Strangeness in watercolor is the best way I can describe my art.

All artists in some way wear their heart on a sleeve, I just happen to wear yours as well.

My paintings don't always reflect or depict my feelings,

but rather what I feel when I project myself into other peoples thoughts or compromising situations.

Its all about the things we as humans already are familiar with but are afraid to admit,

the things we fear and love or at the very least acknowledge.

Im a self taught artist and have been learning my whole life.

I found at an early age that it was easier to draw and paint my thoughts than it was/is to write them down.

A picture speaks a thousand words they say but the funny thing is mine don't speak at all,

in fact I have never had a conversation with art at all without looking like a loon in the gallery,

at least they never answer me in an audible way. Being an artist is hard enough,

ask any artist and they will tell you its more than applying paint to a canvas or paper,

its a life choice, kinda like joining a Monastery in many ways. Devotion to a cause,

dedication to an unseen body of work thats both praised and ridiculed simultaneously.

Some days I wake up and go down to the river just to fancy the thought

of where my next inspiration will come from and WHAM!!!!!!

right infront of my face I see something thats not entirely there and begin the process of painting again.

Call me crazy if you will, many have in the past but thats just the reality of surrealism.

If it wasnt for artists in the past, present or future we would all be living in a 50% grey box,

a world without color, style or shape would be our reality. If you like my art great!!! ,

if not Great!!! (although I hope you do) but go out and find some art or artist that does move you in some way

and buy it to brighten your world in the way that comforts you.

Starving artists are everywhere, especially where you never notice.

Surrealism is the way, especially if you cant see it yet!!!

and Plagiarists should never use the words inspired by.
